Our Rotacator® makes machine adjustments easy and precise. Designed to accurately set planer feed and bed rollers to elimiate end snipe, it is also ideal for making precision table saw adjustments for the smoothest cutting possible. Adjust woodworking machinery to within + or - 0.001"! The magnetic base keeps the Rotacator® firmly in position while the indicator indexes at 0 °, 90° , 180° or 270° for unmatched versatility. This is an extremely precise and useful tool!

Planer Pal - Steel/Carbide (Pair)

Use Planer Pals® to completely replace a set of planer knives faster than you used to be able to shift just one nicked knife. Planer Pals® are a patented knife-setting system that lets you set planer knives in perfect alignment every time! They also allow you to shift nicked knives on 2-1/2" - 4" cutterheads to get a perfect cut with an accuracy of + or - 0.002". Two jigs are needed for 15" - 20" planers; three for planers over 20". For 12" and smaller planers with 1-7/8" - 2-1/8" cutterheads, use our Mini Planer Pal® Carbide jigs are for steel or carbide knives.

CMT Magnetic Knife Setting Jig

The best knives won’t perform well unless they are properly installed and aligned. That’s why these easy-to-use jigs are so important. Set them on any planer head with a diameter of 3" to 5". The built in magnets grip both the planer head and the knives while you use the integral adjustments to get the knives in the perfect position. The set includes two jigs.
