CMT teamed up with cabinet maker Marc Sommerfeld to design the ultimate router table system. Marc has years of experience working with shapers so naturally the design of our new table resembles a shaper both in form and function. With today’s powerful 3 to 3-1/2 HP routers and the use of large 3-1/2 diameter raised panel bits, a table mounted router is truly more versatile than a shaper. Todays routers can match the power of a shaper yet have the flexibility of variable speeds between 8,000 and 22,000 rpm. With a shaper you have only two speeds, 7,000 or 10,000 rpm.

With the new Industrio System (third generation) you get all the benefits of the original, and much more. The Industrio Table now features:

Unique Phenolic Top

Now featuring an 11-3/4" x 14-3/4" insert plate, the top is milled from 3/4" thick phenolic. A stable and very durable material, phenolic is much more resistant to warping than the melamine tops found on most router tables. The top also features aluminum scales on both ends to help set the fence quickly and accurately.

Fast, Easy Bit Changes

There's no need to remove the router or fumble beneath the top to change bits. A clever bent wrench allows you to change bits from above, quickly and easily.

New Dual-Action, Pivoting Zero-Clearance Fence

Our extruded aluminum fence now can be used as a conventional locked-in-place fence or as a pivoting fence. New, quick-adjusting clamps on both ends of the fence make adjustments a breeze, especially when used in conjunction with the aluminum scales that we've added to the top. The fence also includes a subfence of high density white plastic for an ultra smooth feeding surface, with a replaceable center section to create zero-clearance inserts. Sturdy Laminated Cabinet The cabinet of 20 mm-thick melamine assembles quickly with posts and cross dowels, and includes a 2-door storage area to keep bits, wrenches and other tools safe and dust-free.
