Danish Oil is one of the most fool-proof finishes that can be applied. Since Behlen makes their Danish oil with select oils, resins and solvents, the oil has maximum absorbency and penetration into the wood. No additional sealers or finishes are required with this polymerized wood finish, again making it a one-step operation. Danish Oil is ideal in humid and/or hot climates because it will not "gum-up" under these conditions and will never be greasy to the touch. Simply wipe generously with a clean rag, wait for approximately 30 minutes and then thoroughly wipe off the excess. Let this coat dry for at least 24 hours and you'll have a beautiful light amber finish. More coats can be applied, if desired to increase gloss and wood protection. Best of all, water marks. stains, burns and scratches can be easily buffed out with steel wool and retouched with Behlen's Danish Oil.
