Please note that Air Shipments are
priced based on weight and the physical size of the item. What this
means is an item that weighs two pounds but takes the space of a box
normally weighing 20 pounds will be surcharged to compensate for the
space the shipment takes up on the aircraft. The shipping industry
refers to this as DIM weight and the formula for Domestic Shipments
is:
length * width * height

The shopping cart cannot accurately
figure DIM weight shipments, therefore the Cart will display a rate
based solely on the actual weight of the item. Cheyenne Sales, Inc.
reserves the right to modify the charges on any air shipment with
more than a 2 pound difference between the DIM weight and the actual
weight. When these situations arise, we will obtain customer approval,
either by phone or E-Mail, prior to processing the order. Please note
that this is usually only a problem with large items; one of which
is the longer bar style clamp (K-Body Clamps). Smaller accessory items,
glues, HVLP's, etc. are not a problem and will display the correct
shipping amount in the cart.
